We were so lucky and got to go and visit Grandma and Grandpa while they were in the MTC. Senior couples get to have their family visit them and go out and do things on their P-Day. It was so much fun to have the opportunity to show Henry and Emma the MTC and of course to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa before they headed to Prague.
We started out by going bowling. I am not sure-actually I am trying to forget, but I think that both Henry and Emma beat me.
Then we headed to Bridal Veil Falls where JaNae was the hero who carried the two very white boys across the water to the waterfall. It was freezing water but they didn’t care!
Emma waited safely on the rock.
We didn’t plan on getting wet, but the kids wanted to so bad that we just decided to let them go for it and hope for the best.
Jon said the rocks to get over here were like razors. Thank goodness JaNae let him borrow her shoes! (Okay so they were Teva’s, but I think they might have been purple)
We heard the ice cream truck and decided it was time to go and that was our ticket out. We missed it unfortunately so we went for ice cream in town.
We ended up ordering a little food to go with it.
It was getting late and so we headed back to the MTC to take Grandma and Grandpa home.
As you can see we were tired, but we wished the day wouldn’t end.
