Sunday after Church, we decided that we needed to have some family time and really wanted to get out of the house. I remember always going on family drives up the canyon, so that is what we decided to do. It had been raining, so we grabbed our rain boots just in case. Lucky we did because we had the greatest afternoon digging in the Land Cruiser and Splashing in the puddles.
We drove up Temple Fork (where Jon and I got engaged) and Henry and Jon went to check out the river to see if it would be good for fishing soon. Emma, Charlie and I waited in the car because it was raining a bit-Jon told Henry that was where he asked me to marry him. They thought it would be a good idea to bring me back some flowers. So sweet.
Emma decided she needed to look at the water too. Awesome outfit Emma.
I love how green it was. I loved sitting in the car with Charlie taking pictures of my family. Have I mentioned how nice it is to be out of the hospital??
Henry, Emma and Jon decided to take a little walk since the rain stopped. I followed behind in the car.
Henry and Emma found a puddle.
And the fun began!
They were running through the puddle singing “Chocolate Milk, chocolate milk!”
She was sooo happy
Henry was sooo fast
They splashed so much it made it to her face. It does look like she has been drinking “Chocolate milk”
Huh what?
I know there are a million, but they were just so cute and happy that I took over 300 pictures. It was a good day!
Henry found this awesome big worm toward the end
They had fun looking at it and playing with it. Nothing better than mud, water and worms.
They had to walk down the road to release it. It is so beautiful.
Emma got a little emotional so Henry had to comfort her
These two are such good friends, I hope it always stays that way.
We stopped at a bathroom on the way home after stripping them down. I don’t know if it is nice to POINT and LAUGH at your own child.
