Out and About

The last few visits with the family were so warm, so we took a few trips outside to enjoy the fresh air. I can’t tell you how wonderful it was to just sit outside and breath all the smells of spring! I LOVED IT!! There is a great pond that the kids love to throw rocks in…I am sure that the hospital loves it, but it is just too hard to stop them! Here are some pics of us enjoying the time outside.

It was just so beautiful, I couldn’t get enough!IMG_5763

Sweetest little face there ever was!IMG_5756

There is this great wall around the pond that Henry loves to walk/run around. I tell Jon he better be ready at any moment to dive in!

The best husband and Dad in the world. He has taken on everything and done it with such an amazing attitude. I am so grateful for this man.

Henry gathering rocks while Jon and Emma do some throwing!

Henry found a rock with “diamonds” we kept that one. He is a lot like his Mom. I have a box of rocks sitting in the basement that Jon makes fun of!IMG_5804bw

Just swinging around. I had so much fun sitting in the warm sun taking pictures of my family. IMG_5787bw

I’d much rather take the picture!

We moved on from rocks to racing. We had to get some of their energy out before going back in.IMG_5766bw

Emma must have lost.

Tear. (actually the sun was really bright and it just appeared)

And then we were back to rocks…We have also been on some bug hunts. One that ended up getting lose in my room and I found it later in the bathroom climbing up my robe! Luckily it was just a lady bug.

Hey Melissa,
Thanks for the comment. Truth be told, I check yours out too! And I have so been meaning to comment for about 2 weeks now. I've been thinking alot about you and your little babe. I'm so glad he's staying in there, but I'm pulling for you too! I can only imagine what life is like for you right now. You have the best attitude. I'm learning lots from you and your family. I can't wait til you and your little guy can head home and have the entire family under one roof. Hang in there! I'm thinking and praying for all of you! P.S. Your kids are so cute too.

Melissa,
I can't believe what a trooper you are. I'm so sorry for all you and your family have been going through. I hope things turn out well. That is such a long time to be in the hospital. Is it in Ogden?? Maybe we could come by and visit? My prayers are with you!
