Jon was able to go on a few fishing trips this summer and I thought I better document them so that he remembers that I do let him have fun! Just kidding. Anyway the first one I dropped him off in Rexburg on our way back from my family reunion to Glacier. He went with his family to White Clouds in the Sawtooth mountain range-about 15 miles round trip. They hiked the big boulder mountain lake chain. Lot's of lakes.
This was his fourth year going there.
Wow, beautiful! He had a ton of fun and was able to catch a ton of fish-not as many as last year because the bugs were so bad, but still a lot!
Here is the crew that went, minus a few. Jon, his Dad and Mom, Sister JaNae, and Brother Joe and his wife Marilyn.
Hiking up to Sapphire lake. His Dad contemplating life, while JaNae watched over the family from above
Beautiful Sapphire lake. Tons of fish in the inlet Jon informed me.
Jon's little brother Joe fishing Cirque lake.
The mountain glacier melting above cirque lake-amazing colors!
Jon just trying to be an artist.
Peaceful evening fishing at Walker Lake.
Mr. Hiker himself. This is Jon's Dad's second time hiking White Clouds with Jon.
Don't make fun of the fanny pack! He keeps candy and a a camera in there for easy access.
Jon's Mom decided to join the treacherous hike this year and I am happy to report she made it there and back alive! Good Job Marilyn!
Here is the crew that went, minus a few. Jon, his Dad and Mom, Sister JaNae, and Brother Joe and his wife Marilyn.Jon found squeaker (I guess he squeak-ed) he wanted to bring him home for Henry, but knew he wouldn't survive the trip so he took this very blurry picture for him instead. Thanks Jon!

Jon and a few of his buddies from High School and College decided to go on a little fishing trip in Idaho. Pictured:Casey, Kade, and Jon. Others that went too, but didn't make it in the pictures since Jon only took like 4 were: Craig, Lee, and Lee's nephew(sorry don't know his name)
One of the many fish that Jon caught. Henry was pretty upset when he saw this picture. He wanted to know where the fish was. I told him that Dad threw it back and he started crying and told me that he wanted him to bring it home in the car so we could eat it! So there ya go.
