Back Track to the Twenty-Fourth of July

We had the greatest time celebrating the 24th of July. Not only is it a great day for parades and fireworks, but it is our nephew Gage's birthday and they always have a killer party. (Happy birthday Kenton too!) We started out the day with the North Logan Parade. We have the best spot that we have been going to for years, we get tons and tons of candy with little competition! Here we have Henry patiently waiting for the first cars to come.
After the Parade we usually head over to the little fair thing at the park. You can go down the blow up slide for free. Henry wasn't a huge fan.
Emma ended up really liking it though after she was at the bottom. We had so much fun that my sister and her husband decided to rent one from their neighbor for Gage's party. It was soo Fun!
They sprayed it with the hose (it was almost like a fire hose-Jon went and bought the nozzle after and it is awesome!) and you got going pretty fast. It was huge it felt like it was as tall as their house when you got up there. Yes that is Jon and Emma at the top.
The adults had as much fun as the kids and we didn't want to stop and eat cake even. Here are a few funny pictures that I got of people going down. Enjoy!

JonMy brother McKay-sometimes people were going so fast they would go over the end!
My niece Mariah
My nephew Carter
My brother Micah-this doesn't even look like him!
My sister Michelle

My sis-in-law Holly. We started getting a bit creative. Jon did a flip and so many others followed after. Oh wait only a few of us. That is right yours truly was a flipping maniac. Actually it took a while for me to get the courage, but after I did it -it was so fun.
Micah my brother doing a swan dive flip. We had so much fun.
Emma waving "hi" before going down the slide.

Jon getting Henry up the slide was quite the chore. A lot of the stairs were missing and so you had to use a rope to pull yourself up. I had blisters by the end. Some people bit the dust while trying to climb up. It was hilarious.Emma and I posing at the top.
I love her little face in this picture. She was so brave, she loved it. Henry on the other hand...
Loved riding in the jeep. (They too were getting creative)
And playing in the water from the slide. Can't forget the birthday boy Gage...oh yeah and his twin Henry.
And one last night ride before heading home to watch the fireworks. Thanks Michelle and Eric for such a fun party. Can't wait to see what is in store next year...
