Henry told me this morning he wanted to do something really really fun. We have been inside for a few days sick, so they are a little bored. I didn't really want a big mess, so I thought of painting our faces. We use watercolor pencils and there is no mess, and it washes clean. We had so much fun. Don't mind the artwork-I'm not too talented in that area!
Henry wanted superman on one cheek and a caterpillar on the other.
Here are the supplies. Just these awesome colored pencils and some water. Maybe a paper towel too to blot with. Just dip the pencil in the water, or leave them there and start drawing.
Henry admiring himself in the mirror. Looks good Mom!
Henry wanted to paint my face...we went with the hand instead.
Emma didn't want to be left out. The flower I drew on her hand just wasn't enough. She had to go for the face. (luckily this stuff washes off with just water! Non toxic too!)
Nice look Emma. Going to war.
Henry is contemplating going into the face painting profession.

I didn't realize that you could do that. What a good idea. Where do you get your fun ideas?
That is such a good idea! Claire loves her nails painted so I think she would love that! You are too cute. I am a boring mom.
Ok supermom! I have started taking notes so my kids don't get bored. That is a great idea,I wouldn't have thought of that and probably went the messy route. You are a great artist. The catepillar looks just like the one on baby einstein!
This is an awesome idea- it would be really fun at a b-day party for kids. I think you shoulda let Henry paint your face.... oh, as for my new camera- it's a Sony and I think it might amazing! What's a lens hood?
