Humm diddly ummers
We made these things all the time as kids. It was one of my favorite instruments and the supplies for it are pretty much always around. We called them Hummers and today Henry, Emma and I made some.
You simply get a paper towel roll, or a toilet paper roll and put a piece of wax paper on the bottom. Secure with a rubber band and hum, sing, or just talk into the other end. So much fun. If you are really feeling creative you can decorate it.
Emma didn’t really get it. She just wanted to poke the center out. Anything to keep her busy though. I asked Henry to go and get a toilet paper roll that I had put in his room the other day, a few minutes later he came and told me he couldn’t get it off. I went to see what the problem was and found a garbage full of toilet paper in my bathroom. We had to have a talk about waste after that.

You are so creative. I have been peeking on your blog for a few weeks now. What a fun mom you are. Some days I am just trying to survive. You remind me that I need to have fun with them everyday! Your little family is so cute. (hope you don't mind me commenting!?)
