I found a file of old pictures on my computer so I decided to mix things up a bit and use them to help make this post not as boring to others! I found some pictures to fit the answers and the rest I just stuck in there.
1. Who is your man? Jonathan Henry

2. How long have you been together? 5 years November 28th

3. How long dated? One year and one week before we got married. I took my endowments out the day of our first date. November 22nd.

4. How old is your man? 32 (my sister and him are only eight days apart-they are both the third oldest- I am the third youngest- we are 6 1/2 years apart)

5. Who eats more? That depends-while we were dating I out ate him a number of times when we ordered the same thing. Sweets-all me. Steak-him. Bread or Rolls - all him!

6. Who said "I love you" first? Jon- I followed soon thereafter though.

7. Who is taller? Thank goodness Jon- I can even wear heals if I want.

8. Who sings better? Jon a hundred times over. I can't carry a tune-but I love to sing to my kids or when no one is listening. Jon on the other hand is shy about it, but very talented and used his talent while dating to win me over. There is something about a cute guy with a guitar singing to you.

9. Who is smarter? It used to be me as far as grades went, but I lost all my smarts having babies, and now I am dumber than dumb, so Jon wins hands down. He is smarter with computers, finances, and politics, and I guess pretty much everything else.
10. Who's temper is worse? Oh good, this is where I win. Jon is the most laid back even tempered person and he has helped me come a long way! His calming personality is a big attraction for me.

11. Who does the laundry? I probably do it more, but Jon does it quite a bit too.
12. Who does the dishes? Pretty even, I do them a little more often, but he always dries the pots and pans and puts them away and I just leave them on the counter. I love when he does the dishes because the house looks soo clean.
13. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Jon does for now, but it changes when we go places depending on which side is closest to the door. Whoever is closer to the door has to get the kids in the middle of the night!
14. Who pays the bills? We struggle back and forth here. Jon does it right now, but I used to do it. Jon thinks that I should do it, and I don't like to...So Jon is doing it for now!
15. Who has bigger feet? Jon of course

16. Who has longer hair? Me, but not by much in some spots.
17. Who is better with the computer? Oh Jon is defiantly the computer nerd. My family is always calling him with all their computer needs.
18. Who mows the lawn? Embarrassingly I have only mowed a lawn 2-3 times my whole life. My family has a lawn care business and so I never mowed growing up and then Jon just likes mowing because it is the only exercise he gets these days. (although he has been borrowing my Dad's riding lawn mower lately and I think he is planning on making it a weekly ritual!)
19. Who cooks dinner? We each have our specialty so it varies depending on what we feel like that day. Most of the time though I do the cooking. Jon likes to pull a Raymond on me and pretend that he doesn't know how to do things like follow a recipe, but I only fall for that on occasion.
20. Who drives when you are together? Jon, Jon, Jon. I would like to, because Jon drives at the speed limit or a little under. It drives me crazy! I am a five over kind of girl, but Jon loves to drive and doesn't like my driving. I am a good driver, I get rusty sometimes though because I don't get practice. I think the real reason he doesn't want me to drive, is because then he has to take care of the kids in the car -reach for things, get snacks, entertain-it is hard work!

21. Who pays when you go out? Jon, unless it is something that I am doing for him. Like a birthday or something.
22. Who is most stubborn? I think that this one goes along with the temper one. I think that the two go hand in hand, so the answer of course would be me, but I am getting better thanks to patient Jon.

23. Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Probably Jon, but it is a toss up. Sometimes I admit I am wrong and Jon doesn't even know that anything happened!

24. Whose parents do you see the most? Mine, they live in the valley and usually invite us over every other Sunday for dinner. In the week we are usually there borrowing tools!
25. Who kissed who first? Oh that was all Jon. First date: I went in for a hug. Jon standing nonchalantly with his hands in his pocket kissed me. I couldn't believe it! I never kissed on the first date-funny thing is Jon didn't even kiss anyone until he was 23 and his brother blind folded him and had 23 girls kiss him-that was his first kiss. I guess after that he thought what the heck.

26. Who asked who out? Jon did the asking. He passed me a note during our Philosophy in literature class- yes that was in college. A total stranger. He asked for my name and number. I gave him my first name and no number. After class he walked me to the bus stop and asked for my number again. This time I gave it to him, but told him my phone was broken-which it was. So the poor kid had to try again and ask for my address. I gave it to him-risky I know. He stopped by once when I was gone and left a message on my board. Then he stopped by again and I had a 20 page paper due the next day-We talked for a few hours, then I stayed up until 6 the next morning writing my paper(I got an A). He asked me out during our hang out-to a Married Student Association concert. Yeah, we went ring shopping before the date to vending machines, went to the MSA dinner (kind of awkward as my married friends didn't know I was married or even dating anyone serious), then we went to the MSA concert with Peter Brineholt, then to my friends wedding reception (hey Megan), then to Jamba to close the store, since Jon had talked me into getting out of my shift to go on the date with him and I got someone who wasn't a manager to close for me (Jon would die now). I made him mop the floor though. Then we watched a movie and he kissed me! It was kind of a crazy first date- I guess that is why we got married.

27. Who proposed? Jon did the proposing. He totally surprised me which I love. We went up in the Land cruiser for a picnic and to go fishing at our favorite spot. He threw me off by letting his buddy tag along in his cruiser and say he would just meet up with us after we finished our picnic. After we ate (this was one of those times that I totally out ate Jon- this and the day of our wedding), we started getting ready to fish. Jon is so nice and always puts my lures on for me so he asked me what I thought they were biting on gold or silver-he always asked me this-not that he ever listened. So I said silver-luckily-not sure if I would have gotten my ring if I would have said gold (even though it is white gold I guess). Anyway he was down on his knee getting in his tackle box, then he pulled out the ring-it was so beautiful in the sun. After it was all said and done, I asked if we still had to go fishing or if we could just go home and tell our families. He just laughed at me. Then as we were pulling out to head down Logan Canyon this old cowboy on a horse stopped us and asked if we could give his daughter a ride to her car! Poor girl, probably thought I was crazy I was so excited all the way through the canyon!

28. Who is more sensitive? Oh defiantly me. Especially when I am pregnant-Jon is way too nice to me.
29. Who has more friends? We probably have the same, I just get to see and hang out with mine more often. Jon and I are both bad at keeping in contact with people, but luckily we have some good friends that do that for us and keep us in the loop. We really do love our friends, we are just lazy I guess.
30. Who has more siblings? Cool thing-we have the same. Both of our families have eight kids. 3 girls and 5 boys. They are all almost the same age too. It is so nice, because we were raised so much the same so we usually agree about most things as far as family things go.

That is a really cute tag and even cuter answers. Those are cute and some old pictures. How fun! It sounds like he really helps out around the house that is soooo nice:)
How did I know know all of this already? I remembered him helping you close on your first date, but I forgot about the MSA activity. Plus, I didn't remember the proposal details. What a horrible roommate I was! (Okay so I was married when you got engaged, but I should have known everything about that first date).
I loved seeing all those cute pictures and your responses are super sweet. You and Jon seem so matched for each other, and perfectly happy.
By the way... the last pictures of each of your families is sooo funny! I can't believe you both have those.
So cute, Melissa. I love all the pictures! You really make a great couple.
Super fun to read all your answers Melissa -- It looks like I've been tagged so I better get going on that. Your blog is great -- its a great way to feel connected when we don't always see each other. That will change soon since we are moving to town tomorrow! Love ya!
That was a fun tag! I learned so much about you guys. By the way, the picture with you guys in front of the white board calender...was that our old apartment... I do not remember that wallpaper!
I had not idea that your first date was our wedding reception. I thought that date sounded familiar! The funny thing is, you're not the only ones who hooked up at our reception. We're now responsible for two happy, eternal families, three including us!
I love how you have so many pictures of you guys when you were dating. I guess if you only date for six weeks, the pictures are few and far between!
