Jon and I went to Berkley California for some Jamba meetings and decided to stay a few extra days to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We got married on November 28th-the day after Thanksgiving and now five years later it landed on the day after Thanksgiving again. Crazy. Love you Jon!
Anyway we had a great time celebrating in California and owe a big THANKS to Jon’s parents for watching the kids! Here are a few highlights from the trip.
We spent the first two days in non stop meetings that were pretty interesting. One of the nights we headed out with some Jamba friends Ryan and Julie (they own the Idaho Falls Store) and some fun on the Warf.
It was pretty late because it was after all our meetings, so most everything was already closed, but we had a great time just being outside.
These are the Love seals. We felt it necessary to pose by them since we are so in LOVE. Do we look like we are as in love as the seals are?
Our Friends Ryan and Julie checking out the seals and putting out the vibe.
Us posing by the seals that you can’t see in the background. Wish that some of the pictures of seals would have worked out, they were pretty cool, but they smelled something fierce.
A beautiful night shot of San Francisco.
After the meetings were said and done, we had some great days sleeping in and sight seeing. We visited some beaches.
We were at the beach at the most perfect time. It was soo beautiful.
Our little tribute to the kids. We love ya, but we were having fun without you. Henry thinks that’s NOT FAIR.
It was just so beautiful I couldn’t help but take a million pictures of which I will not post…all of them.
Look at the awesome waves behind Jon. You can look at Jon too if you want.
We got to go on a nature walk and enjoy the sunset. WOW!
Famous Golden Gate.
Sorry you have to see a bunch of pictures of us. We didn’t have any children to take pictures of.
It was awesome watching the sun disappear into the ocean.
We just sat and relaxed and enjoyed ourselves.
We also stood on the freezing cold Golden Gate bridge at night. We struggled to get a good picture.
I’ve got some nice hair. After the trip we went to Rexburg to pick up Henry and Emma and celebrated Thanksgiving in with Jon’s family. I guess I didn’t take any pictures-but it was a great time too.
