I am pretty adamant about having a real Christmas tree. Jon, on the other hand tries to talk me into buying a pre-lit fake tree every year at the after Christmas Sale. I am still winning. We have had a real tree every year. We have cut down our own tree 4 of the 6 Christmas’s we have been married and I LOVE the tradition.
A family picture as the hunting begins. We have gone with my sister Michelle and her family for the past two years and I love having my own personal photographer with me at all times.
There was no snow in the valley as we drove up, but luckily there was some when we got into the canyon. Henry making his first snowball of the year.
Emma is not a fan of the cold or the snow really. She has come around since this trip, but we got pretty tired from carrying her around as we hiked!
We did get her to walk for about 30 seconds and luckily I got this picture. Priceless.
Henry on the other hand, loved the snow so much he just had to roll around in it.
Starting to get a little cold, but still lovin it.
Still no Christmas Tree.
Hip-hip Hooray! We found our Christmas Tree! I am pushing on it while Jon is working the saw. What’s going to work? Team work. Jon agrees to get a real Christmas tree if I promise to put the lights on. (Someday I will do a flashback and tell the Christmas tree/lights story-it was our first fight as a married couple). Last year however, Jon decided to be NICE and take the lights off the tree for me.
This is what I found. Thanks Jon!!!
