Grandpa and Grandma Anderson had to work at the Temple so we were on our own. We relaxed most of the day and just visited, then decided to go to the splash park late afternoon. It was great. In Porter Park in
Rexburg, they have a free area, that has slides, fountains, and a big bucket that spills water. Our kids aren't too fond of getting water in their eyes, so they didn't love it as much as I had hoped. I actually wished that I would have worn my swimsuit so that I could take them down the slides.

This is where we spent most of our time. Next to the small fountains just splashing with our hands.

Not sure if this is considered child abuse. I felt like she needed to get a little more wet. I think she liked it-but she can't talk you know.

She kept playing, I think that is s good sign. She is just always so interested in everything.

Jon trying to help convince Henry to go down the slide. (Hey Marilyn in the background!)

Didn't work, so I took Emma instead. She is always up for some fun.

I can't believe how big she is getting! She loved it and I had to put her up and down it several times-resulting in some wet clothes.

Oh snuggle time. My favorite part.

They have a
carousel right next to the splash park for just a dollar a ride. We tried and tried to convince Henry to go, but to no avail. He is going through some kind of fear stage, now that he understands more about danger. Emma went though of course she is still in the
oblivious stage.

She did get a little scared though (or dizzy, I am not sure) I ended up having to climb on while the thing was moving with her in my arms. She was much happier. Jon was snapping pictures even though the girl who ran the thing told him not to, or at least he thought that was what she said. She knew the name of every one of the horses-enough said.

Emma is too cute! I love the one of her getting washed away. Even though it might be on the verge of child abuse. lol
Where is this park at? We may have to go there tomorrow on Brandon's day off. I don't think we would be able to get Xander to go on the carousel either, he's quite cautious. It's really free, including the slides?
